Field of the Invention The present invention is related to a light valve device, and more particularly to a light valve device which includes a scanning assembly having a plurality of arcuate members for reflecting the excitation light beam along the longitudinal axis thereof for uniformly and efficiently scan the light beam onto the light valve device. 2. Description of the Prior Art Typical light valve devices comprise a substrate having a light absorbing layer for selectively absorbing the excitation light beam, and a means for selectively controlling the selective absorption of the excitation light beam is disposed on the substrate for controlling the excitation light beam to scan along the longitudinal axis of the light valve device for selectively exposing the light valve device for controlling the light transmittance therethrough. The light valve device may be used in optical scanners for exposing the image of documents onto film, paper or photographic media for storage or scanning. The substrate of the typical light valve device is made of glass and is one piece that has the light absorbing layer on its surface. The above substrate is also provided with a plurality of magnets disposed on a surface thereof for serving to clamp the light valve device on a predetermined carrier plate, such as a printed circuit board, for enabling the excitation light beam to scan along the longitudinal axis of the light valve device. However, the process for making the above substrate is relatively complicated, thereby increasing the cost of manufacture of the substrate. U.S. Pat. No. 4,312,808 to Steinbrugge discloses one of the typical light valve devices with a light reflecting means disposed adjacent to the light absorbing layer for reflecting the excitation light beam along the longitudinal axis thereof for evenly exposing the light valve device. However, the light reflecting means are not easily formed in the light valve device due to the limited configuration thereof. U.S. Pat. No. 5,982,511 to Haluska discloses another typical light valve device having a scanning assembly for reflecting the excitation light beam thereon for evenly exposing the light valve device. c8b82c0f98
